KIF3C Promotes the Malignant Progression of Lung Cancer Cells A549

چکیده

Objective: To investigate the role of KIF3C gene in promoting malignant phenotype lung cancer cells and regulating PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. Methods: CCK-8 transwell assays were used to detect changes cell proliferation migration ability after being transfected with siKIF3C, as well protein expression levels PI3K, p-PI3K, AKT, p-AKT following downregulation by Western blot. Results: The assay showed that proliferation/viability A549 significantly reduced siKIF3C (P < 0.05); was p-PI3K proteins downregulated knockdown however, detection PI3K AKT not statistically significant. Conclusion: may promote through

Dihydroartemisinin increases radiosensitivity of A549 lung cancer cells

Background: Radiotherapy is the gold standard in the treatment of lung cancer. However, the radiosensitization of cancerous cells requires further improvement. Here, we investigated the effect of dihydroartemisinin (DHA) on the radiosensitization of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. Methods: Cell proliferation and cell cycle assays were carried out using A549 cells exposed to DHA. The e...

ATM induces radioresistance of non-small cell lung cancer A549 cells by downregulation of MDMX

Background: Tumor radioresistance leads to a reduction in the efficiency of radiation therapy. It is very important to explore the cellular mechanisms leading to radioresistance and to find potential therapeutic targets, which might improve the efficacy of radiation therapy. This study was to investigate the role of ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and murine double minute X (MDMX) in radior...

COPD promotes migration of A549 lung cancer cells: the role of chemokine CCL21

Patients with COPD develop lung cancer more frequently than healthy smokers. At the same time, molecular mediators promoting various aspects of cancer cell progression are still elusive. In this report, we examined whether COPD can be coupled with increased migration of non-small-cell lung cancer cells A549 and, if so, whether this effect may be related to altered production and activity of che...

Carboxymethyllysine, an Advanced Glycation End-Product, Promotes the Invasion and Migration of Lung Cancer A549 Cells

Effects of carboxymethyllysine (CML), an advanced glycation end-product (AGE), at 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 μmol/l upon invasion and migration of A549 cells, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells, were investigated. Results showed that CML at used test doses did not affect A549 cell growth. However, CML at 4-16 μmol/l enhanced both invasion and migration, and stimulated the release of reactive oxygen...

Oleifolioside B-mediated autophagy promotes apoptosis in A549 human non-small cell lung cancer cells.

The biochemical mechanisms of cell death by oleifolioside B (OB), a cycloartane-type triterpene glycoside isolated from Dendropanax morbifera Leveille, were investigated in A549 human lung carcinoma cells. Our data indicated that exposure to OB led to caspase activation and typical features of apoptosis; however, apoptotic cell death was not prevented by z-VAD-fmk, a pan-caspase inhibitor, demo...
